As a community, we understand the importance of standing in solidarity with our Jewish homeland, and we have developed a comprehensive three-pronged approach to having a significant effect on the course of events on the other side of the ocean.

RAISING FUNDS: Strengthening Bonds
Throughout the crisis, Chabad of the SCV is working closely with its counterparts in Israel to strategically place monetary funds and/or essential resources provided or facilitated by our community directly into the hands of those who need it most. This includes those mourning the loss of loved ones, the families of the hostages, those injured in the attacks, those evacuated from their homes, and the brave soldiers of the IDF. Additionally, as recent events have been placing Jews all over the world squarely in the haters’ crosshairs, Chabad of the SCV has been bolstering its efforts to further strengthen Jewish education, assembly, identity and solidarity. Rather than scaling back, Chabad sees this as a time to intensify and increase its programs and events and further expand their reach, thereby creating a stronger, more proactive and connected community.
